Renault Samsung has been around since the year 2000. The Samsung brand hasn't been seen in overseas markets bar a few here and there. It's export programme has been about building vehicles for Renault and Nissan.
Today, the Renault Koleos is a major export for the company as has the Nissan Rogue model. If it wasn't for the latter, production would have been around the 100,000 mark, but instead has mainly been well over 200k. A new Rogue is due, explaining the lower volume in 2019.

Interestingly, Nissan has just announced it is pulling its brand and Infiniti out of the Korean market. There has been diplomatic tension between Japan and Korea, causing a consumer backlash in Korea. Sales have fallen sharply as a result. Presumably that won't affect Nissan production in Korea due to the spat and despite Nissan having an overcapacity problem as well.
