Dacia models have been a massive success for Renault, not only in Europe but in emerging nations around the world, in the latter sold as Renault cars. The Dacia brand itself is mainly used only in Europe but I could see it working in places where the Renault brand has not been successful in the past.
Three models are made here and production volume has been very consistent over the past few years. It has become increasingly the Duster SUV that is made here. Now that Carlos Ghosn is no longer with the company, it will be interesting to see what directional change may occur, if indeed anything does change.
