Registrations were down 3% in August and likewise down 4% YTD. The good news for locals was that Fiat's market share of 9.6% was higher than last year's all time low of 9.2%. We await to see if it is sustainable.
Dacia reached its highest penetration ever at 6.5%. Regular readers will know I'm all for a value product so good to see one with essential features but not excess ones. VW hit its lowest share since 2010 when Fiat dropped below a quarter of the market for the first time.
