One thing from this exercise is Eastern Europeans don't get the MINI. Does the idea of a small premium not count for much? I think so because those that buy premium in this region can afford to splash out on bigger vehicles.
Comparing MINI with BMW brand sales, Hungary is 11% or slightly under 1:9. It goes downhill from there. The average is a poor 7.4% or a ratio to 1:13.5. Russia is 1:18 but 2022 could be anything with sanctions now operative.
