Volvo had a disappointing 2025 after several years of solid increases. In trying times, 2026 has started with an 11% decrease.
Most models are feeling the pinch with new models (XC70 and ES90) not of sufficiently large in volume to make up the shortfall.

The Rest is up 6% and Europe down just 3.3%. The pain is coming from the Americas (-27.6%) and China (-17%). Volvo is seemingly not chasing volume but realigning its sales to meet market demand.
As for Polestar, after a poor 2024, 2025 was up 34% and now 2026 is doing well enough with a 7% increase. More detail isn't available.
The current model range of the Polestar 2 (saloon car), Polestar 3 (SUV), and Polestar 4 (SUV coupe) will be added to in due course.
