Registrations were up 11% for the year. The top brands all lost market share, I assume because of the barrage coming from new Chinese brands. When they enter a market, it's like a feeding frenzy. The established brands still hold sway over the majority of car buyers as reputation achieved through time is something they have on their side...for now.
Toyota leads with Kia and Hyundai filling the next two places. The three have 48% of total sales. Geely and Changan are the two main Chinese brands that have pushed into the top ten. Jetour (above picture) and Forthing (lower picture) are just outside but moving up quickly.
