Thailand Sales: 2021

The statistics in Thailand are reported by Toyota. I presume companies report the sales to them voluntarily as I don't think all do so. Of those that do, some don't want the data released and it seems to be getting more so. European brands seem to be the ones not reporting.

With generous protection provided to encourage local manufacturing, a few brands dominate. With that in mind, Toyota has nearly a third of the market, with Isuzu a quarter.

Registrations -4% for the year. The '+/-' column below is comparing market share variance for 2021 with 2020. Pickup trucks are a major contributor to manufacturing and are extremely popular with the local populace as well. The one-ton variety made up 393,476 registrations,  just over half of the total market. Isuzu is number one with 167,180 sales, Toyota next on 151,501 and then Ford recording 32,539 sales.
