The Granta is the ideal car for Russia |
Sales were -7% in 2020 so a fine result for the times. With Russia not shutting down like other economies, local sales were OK. Lada almost exclusively sells in Russia so we see the result below.
The Granta (above) is what Russians outside of the large cities want, no-nonsense cars. The 4X4 (below) has been around for some time now. It imbues the old Land Rover Defender with a feel of cutting edge design when they are compared. Yet again, it works well in Russia where many roads and winter conditions are not easy on cars.
In addition, AutoVaz sold 9,823 of its Niva model, which is not counted in the figures below.
