Toyota is flying high in Finland |
In the last article in the series, it had become apparent that two brands are ensconced at the top, Toyota and VW. The last three years have favoured the former and the gap has widened substantially. Škoda is now closing in on second and Volvo is doing better than ever on fourth.
The car market has come a long way since the late 1950's (follow link below), when Moskvitch was the best selling brand. It fluctuated more then too, while the number of cars sold was tiny in comparison. Toyota is now the best selling brand and looks like it could be that way for a some time yet.
