Registrations were down 3% in August but up 1% YTD. Based on recent history, not a bad result. VW has held the lead since 2023 with GM and Fiat having been on top in years before that.
The top six rankings from last year are repeated but BYD moving into seventh place is an improvement of three places. Renault has dropped two spots but overall there isn't much change on last year.
