The Tesla Y enjoyed its second year as the best selling model. With the Model 3 in fourth place, this is a happy hunting ground for the brand. 35% of cars sold in the Netherlands were electric. That electric cars are subsidised obviously helps and the size of the country must also encourage their adoption too.
The subsides will apparently end in 2025 and that would most likely lead to a drop off in electric car sales. I question any product that relies on incentives because it cannot achieve much success based on natural market forces alone. Hybrids will no doubt remain popular.
The colour coding shows that Europe is the main supplier of cars but Asian offerings are also popular.
