Registrations were -3% in December but +3% for the year in total. Things seem to be very stable at the new car forecourt. The 'Diff' column shows market share change, although with just a 4% increase, it won't make much difference to actual increase or decrease. This was the best year since 2017.
GM represented by the Chevrolet nameplate is currently the undisputed champion for the second year in a row. Suzuki got knocked down to third last year but has came out swinging in 2023 and regained one place on the chart. Citroën is counter-punching with assuredness as too its sibling brand Peugeot. Chinese makes have been here for a while but are struggling to crack the big time but they're not by any means throwing the towel in. Is Opel out for the count?
