Land Rover Global Model Sales : 2023

With the curse of the semiconductor shortage supply issue behind them and the Nitra plant in Slovakia recently adding a third shift, vehicles are flowing through the system. According to JLR, there are still many orders to be fulfilled but waiting times are reducing.

As JLR does quarterly figures only, the last quarter (Q4) was up 31% an the year as a whole was up 32%. The Defender and the Discovery have both lifted their share of total LR deliveries. The former up to 31% and the latter 5%.

The new Range Rover is finally reaching long suffering customers and the Ranger Rover Sport went from 35,600 to 67,000 units delivered. The rest of the range is down but certainly not out. Overall the 2023 volume is the highest since 2019.

Data source: JLR.

All the regions are very close with the 'Other' now the third strongest region. China became the largest region in 2022 and held on to that...just.
