To find out more about models sold in Switzerland, I colour coded the list to show where brands historically originated. From this we see that European marques win hands down here. The Tesla 3 became the best selling model it's true and that was a surprising result in a country not hugely behind electric cars.
Point of note: The VW Golf was the best selling model for many a year. That changed in 2017, when the Škoda Octavia took over, It was at the top for four years before losing out this year by just 100 registrations to Tesla 3. I doubt any model will be at the top very long now as market forces initiate more volatility.
