Registrations were down a mere 20% in December, slightly softening the -35% crash for the year. That's a 78,000 plus loss of sales in one year! True, 2012 was much worse with just 106,000 units sold but this is the lowest since then.
Only one brand managed to increase so I added blue to show a decrease but improvement in market share. The dreaded yellow afflicted all those brands that exceeded the 35% fall.
Renault has been the top brand every year since it took the top spot in 2002. Peugeot has been a regular at second spot for five years now but has unable to progress from there. VW was the brand deposed by Peugeot from second and is now back at 9th place, not a common situation for that company in Europe.
