Renault Brand Global Model Sales : 2020

Sales were -24%, just as you would expect. Heavily reliant on Europe, it was never going to be any different. The Zoe electric model stood out as an exception compared to the carnage around it in the passenger car area. The new Triber and Arkana also improved their share but neither are huge sellers.

The data below is for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. There seem too many models to me and some are on the way out. I would call it a range of competent cars but none of them really grab my attention. The Master van and diminutive Twingo both did well.

It does increasingly look like the Clio show, which is now claiming a whisker short 1 in 5 sales for Renault. SUVs should be doing better for the company. I'm sure they are aware of that.

PS. The Alpine A110 sold 1,527 units, down 68% on 2019.

The Triber 7-seater MPV is aimed at emerging markets
