Toyota/Lexus sales for 2026 reached 5 million in H1. I also do Lexus separately but it's included here. North America and Asia (less Japan) both around the 1.45 million mark. Add Japan to them and Toyota is very much a North America and Asia marque, with over three quarters of deliveries.
Production is slightly lower at 4.86 million units. Things change here. Japan makes over twice as many cars in Japan as it sells there. With most Asian markets tariff protected, sales and production closely align. The rest of the world are net importers.
