Kia is into its second year at the top, having displaced Renault in 2024. It has extended its lead this year. Chevrolet was last the number one brand in 2016 but has now slipped to sixth.
I included taxi registrations as they are passenger cars. Just over 2,500 new taxis have joined the fleet so far, with Kia and Hyundai accounting for nearly 2,000 of them.
