Of the top seven models, all are French or French owned, so plenty of loyalty there. The Tesla Y at ninth is the first interloper. European models do best here with a reasonable smattering of Asian and US models as the list descends.
Peugeot has been winning the brand war with Renault regarding passenger cars but the empire has struck back. The Clio has passed the 208 to regain the lead and in dramatic fashion. How much it matters to these companies I'm unsure but there are usually some bragging rights attached to such matters.
