Registrations for December and for the full 2022 were -7% in both cases. The '+/- diff' column below is for market share change. The local brand leads with 31.3% of the market, a huge amount in any context. Supporting what's made at home makes economic sense.
Toyota slipped past Hyundai and Ford past VW but nothing too startling. Dacia has the top four models with the Logan (11,402), Duster (10,118), Sandero (8,492) and Spring (6,830). The Hyundai Tucson (3,058) and locally built Ford Puma (3,046) headed off the Toyota Corolla (2,634). The new Dacia Jogger (picture at bottom of article) ran up an impressive 2,614 sales.
