With registrations up 83% in December and barely -1% for the year, it is clear that Norway doesn't follow the herd. Electric car sales were 54% of the total market in 2020 and 67% in December. That doesn't include hybrid cars either.
The situation also produces volatility from year to year as to which models are shooting through the roof or crashing and burning. When government incentives are used to influence purchasing decisions, this is quite a common occurrence. However, it still surprises me how much movement there is.
