Registrations were even in comparison to last year but that could do much to lift spirits with a -32% YTD. It does make the data somewhat difficult to decipher as to trends, especially if stock levels played a part. Only two brands managed an increase (green), so I added pale blue to show at least a market share gain. Yellow is a decrease in both sales and share.
It's an unusual market as only one brand could even muster an 8% share. Local brand SEAT was that brand and it has returned to the top despite losing share, thanks to Peugeot doing even worse. Toyota minimised its loss so was able to move up into 4th place.
Over the years, data for Spain was proved by ANIACAM, which was prompt and detailed. It no longer operates as an independent organisation, so the data is not as good. Still, beggars can't be choosers and any statistics are appreciated. The new source is mentioned below.
