The Fiat Chrysler Automobiles company makes vehicles in all three of the NAFTA nations. What may be surprising is that cars are now almost non-existent. Less than 8% of the total in fact.
USA: Cars are no longer made here, although light trucks are doing just fine. Nearly 1.5 million of then rolled down production lines in 2018. That was comprised of 62% Jeep and 38% Dodge/Ram.

Canada: This is where the diminishing number of cars is made now, except for a few in Mexico. About 40% of the 500,000 vehicles made north of the border were cars. That's down from nearly 50% just a year ago.

Mexico: South of the border 640,000 vehicles were assembled, 99% trucks. Dodge Ram made up 58%, Jeep 40%, Fiat trucks 1.5% and Fiat cars 0.7%. There was no growth in 2018 after a healthy increase in 2017.

Summary: FCA in North America is all about light trucks, which are profitable and what the public want most. Cars have been left for Asian brands to divide up among themselves. 2.5 million units made was a gain of 12%, compared to a -11% the previous year.
