Jaguar Sales By Model Russia : 2001-14

A Jaguar dealer in Krasnodar, southern Russia

Jaguar was a late starter in Russia, with sales just a decade ago paltry. With only 1 Jaguar sold each week in 2001, clearly an effort has been made to lift the marque since and sales have accelerated. I don't have specific sales for some of the early years but they were limited anyway.

In  2005, things started to improve. At the time it was the X-Type that was the most popular of the range, with the XJ surprisingly quiet (much better now I see). By the time the XF was introduced, volumes were up, except for the 2009/10 during the economic issues that nations were facing. In 2014, car sales in Russia were well down with the Ukrainian crisis but Jaguar held up well. 2015 may be different as a full year of difficult conditions await.
