I colour coded the list to show where brands historically originated. Renault is the main brand although Chevrolet is also a common nameplate too at second. Between the two of them, they dominate the top 15 places. Asian models are very popular overall but not so much at the top. Therefore, I was surprised to see a Mazda CX-30 at number one. It jumped from seventh place while the Chevrolet Onyx fell from top to tenth.

They are interspersed with Korean and other French models at the higher levels at least. Ford and Jeep keep the US in the picture.
I traveled around Morocco some years back and was fascinated by the country. The beautiful Atlas mountains in the north down to the flat, arid land in the south. I can see how a car brand like Dacia would do well there.

Being close to Europe may lead one to think that region would be more popular but no. The Toyota Corolla strengthened its hold on the top spot with an impressive 60% increase. Hyundai and Kia took the next four places showing their popularity. Tesla arrived in Israel with quite a splash.
