Registrations were up 1% for August and +3% YTD. Car purchasing is all but over now as the last three months of the year car salesman just twiddle their thumbs at their desks with very few sales.
Toyota leads the way but not by as much as last year due to losing some market share. VW has gone up slightly but nothing will change now as sales are all but done in 2025. VW was dethroned from the top spot in 2022 but is keeping Toyota honest.
Škoda holds third place from Hyundai but there is little in it. Ford was sometimes the best selling brand at the beginning of the century but is now even out of the top ten, my records don't go back far enough to know when that was last the case.
