In this ever-changing landscape that we know as the Norwegian car market, premium marques are by no means immune to violent fluctuations. The 5.4% drop in numbers was 5% worse than the market as a whole. Electric models burst on the scene, then sales fall back as the next wave of new entrants arrive and become the flavour of the month.
The BMW Group returned to the top, while Tesla belly-flopped as it fell back to fourth. Audi especially and Volvo moved up as electric models did their stuff. The new Volvo electric brand Polestar (pictured above) turned up and had an immediate impact as one expects in Norway.
