Europe Brand Sales : 2023/24 Q2

Registrations were up 5% in June and 4% YTD so a stable situation in terms of total sales. VW maintains its lead albeit slightly less so. It's at its lowest since 2005 but it is one of its lowest for many decades. Toyota is chipping away and is well settled in the number two spot.

Audi is seemingly pulling back on volume and fell from 3rd to 8th. Ford has basically given up on passenger cars and is out of the top ten for the first time since whenever. What made them make such a call I won't even bother addressing here.

Škoda is looking healthy at 4th, up three places while Dacia has moved into the top ten. Honda has improved its market share by 26% and Mitsubishi - who was supposed to be exiting Europe - gained 66%. Neither of which are big selling brands here but still a useful gain for them both nonetheless.
