Registrations were -48% in December and -43% YTD. That is quite a drop and for now, seems to be holding. There have been some lean years of late so 2020 wasn't an historically terrible sales year. Few brands managed to improve.
It quickly becomes apparent the VW / Škoda combination is working well in controlling things. Renault was in the mix but for now, at least has fallen well away. Not so Kia which is suddenly rising up the ranks with gusto. Opel was third a few years back but is now 8th with a 68% drop. Ford has gone even further, from 5th to 19th! the 77% fall in an already depressed market says something. Premium marques don't figure prominently but are moving up.
