
Deliveries were down 9% in 2025. The cyber attack that disrupted production has had an effect. That negativity may linger into 2026, especially in far flung corners of the world where shipping vehicles to such destinations takes time.
The marque's mixture of quality combined with ruggedness gives it a certain 'je ne sais quoi', not that French buyers can appreciate that now.In 2025 Land Rover pulled out of the passenger car market in France. 11,200 LRs passenger vehicles were sold in France in 2024 with some extra sales achieved as stock was snapped up. An explanation for that is in the comments section.
The Q4 figure was understandably down 22%. 2026 will presumably see things become more settled. Hopefully, UK JLR workers will see the bigger picture and accept the latest pay deal.
Regions: The data below includes Jaguar and Land Rover deliveries. That is how they are currently released by the company. Jaguar's run out situation brought the total down 15%. North America is now by far the largest region for JLR, accounting for 28% of all deliveries.
Models: The Defender leads the way with 31% of LR sales, with over 107,000 units delivered. The Range Rover Sport reached 74,000 deliveries and the Range Rover got close to 67,000 units.

China was down 26% but things may soon change. JLR and its partner Chery are bringing out an electric range of SUVs under the Freelander brand name. The first model is due mid 2026. It will initially be just for the Chinese market.
