Getting a breakdown of models for Japan is difficult, especially for imported brands. The top 20 is reported each year by JAIA, the importers association. I've ignored that in the past due to the brevity of the list. In 2023, I relented and here it is below. I colour coded it for the brand's origin.
The MINI is listed as one model but that includes the Hatch, Countryman and Clubman. I'm not sure why but that's how they do it. German marques predominate but Volvo, Jeep and Land Rover added some variety. Last year it was the Fiat 500.
