Asian models are dominant here with a few US models and MG which represents Europe via its heritage. VW also squeaks in with a solo effort. Toyota leads the charge as do pickup trucks generally.
The truck leader is the Toyota Hilux which retains its clear favouritism although the new Ranger has arrived and will test the Hilux in 2023. The Mitsubishi Triton has moved up to fourth with a strong showing but the Nissan Navara lost 14 places.
As for passenger cars and SUVs, The Toyota RAV4 is well in front, the Mazda CX-5 second and Toyota Corolla third. The MG ZS and Hyundai i30 round out the top five. The Mitsubishi Outlander is a big winner this year. Tesla hasn't had the full impact it could have had, with incentives and large distances limiting the impact of electric vehicles.
