Registrations for December were -23% and for 2022 were -1%. There was s a slowing in registrations as the year passed, a reverse trend compared to most other countries so far analysed. The '+/- diff' column below is for market share change.
Chery claimed the top place after the first quarter but Chevrolet came back to take the lead and keep it. There's no longer a Chery on the top. Suzuki is slipping down the list while Toyota is growing mightily in stature. The lack of a local industry to protect, brand proliferation, and by extension greater choice is the result. No one brand managed to secure double digit market share.
