With so many companies experiencing reduced sales, it is a pleasant surprise to see one actually in a plus situation. The Dokker took a hit as Dacia now leaves commercial vehicles to Renault, which makes the result even more meritorious. The colouring is based on changes in its share compared to last year's equivalent.
I like the fact that in Europe there is a market for a brand like this. Cars today have become too complex and less reliable as a result. Simplicity is a value that has been lost and we are becoming the poorer for it. The inability of the car industry to procure sufficient stock to meet demand is a problem of its own making.
I have never wanted to own a new car less than I do today. If Dacia ever makes it to New Zealand, I may be persuaded to rethink that.
