I colour coded the list to show where brands historically originated. Europe mainly but Asian models are making progress. Ford is pulling back on cars so the US may become a redundant colour soon. I'll have to think of another division, perhaps separating Japan from other Asian brands.
Peugeot snatched the top spot from Renault with the 2008 SUV passing the usual leader the Clio. Movement is more pronounced with so much more than just market forces at work.
