UK Top 5 Medium Car Sales : 2004 -2016

Otherwise incongruously known as 'lower-medium' due the car industry's inability to accept cars are getting bigger. In this medium segment the Ford Focus is the best selling model, with the exception of 2010 when the Vauxhall Astra took over that coveted position. About a quarter of UK sales are found here.

The Focus, Astra and VW Golf have been ever-present during this period. Otherwise, there have been some movements with models coming and going. Currently the Nissan Qashqai is up to third place. 2017 looks like there may be no change from this year. For now the Ford Focus looks safe.
