Registrations for June were the same as last year although the YTD figure is down 11%. Considering the complete 2023 was down 29% on the corresponding year shows things are leveling off but are not exactly rosy either.
Suzuki has been pressing hard here for some years, occasionally reaching number one but not maintaining it. It's back and with a healthy lead...for now. Hyundai has been doing the same as Suzuki and has been bumped back to second. Kia has never been the top dog and the wait continues.
Top selling passenger cars are the Chevrolet Groove (2,807 - picture above), Suzuki Swift (2,666 - picture below), Kia Soluto (2,407), Hyundai i-10 Hatch (2,300), Suzuki Baleno and MG ZS (both 1,951).
