SEAT is the home team but it doesn't dominate the chart as would happen in some countries. The small Sandero Hatchback pipped the SEAT Arona (picture above) for the lead. The Arona may be roomy but I think the lady above is a tad optimistic. Toyota C-HR is fourth, just below the Peugeot 2008.
The SEAT Ibiza came in the 10th and going by the picture below it is a very popular car, especially among the youth of Spain. Buy one and celebrity status is guaranteed. Personally, I prefer anonymity but each to their own.
The MG ZS was a hit in 2023 with the brand in total up 321%. Tesla was collectively +188% but the Model Y was 6,800 and the Model 3 6,100 respectively, so neither made the cut here.
Total sales of 950,000 is ahead of the past three years but before that, they were at the 1.3 million mark. A million sales may be reached in 2024.
