Thailand Vehicle Sales : 2020 (By Brand)

This data is released by Toyota Thailand which is an unusual situation. At least it gives some insight into the market there. Sales were down 21% for the year and -19% compared to the previous decade's average. The sales figures are for vehicles so include pick-up trucks which dominate the market. With heavy protection for local assembly, the range of brands available is limited.

Toyota remains firmly ensconced at the top although the new D-Max clearly helped Isuzu to manage to actually increase sales by some 13,000 units. The five brands below all lost market share. MG and Suzuki both did well in a depressed environment. BMW got bragging rights over Mercedes and Chevrolet has now pulled out, with sales down to a trickle.
