The Samsung brand is now confined to Korea. Sales so far this year are -37% so not a great start. The underwhelming 12,200 sales represented just 3.3% of its home market for the three months of the year, down from the 5.5% it achieved over a complete 2020.
Only the QM6 had any success if you could call it that. The +17% shown is the improvement of its total Samsung brand share. Its year-to-date figure comparing the three months of 2020 with 2021 is -34%! I don't know what Renault's plan is for Samsung but I don't see a business case as things stand. They do make cars for the Renault Group but does that justify the Samsung brand continuing?
