Moldova Passenger Car Sales : 2019

A local Dacia dealer

The average registrations over the past past ten years has been 5,100, so 2019 was 31% above that. This was the 4th straight annual increase sales so the economy seems to be on the improve. As Moldova is closely related to Romania, it's not surprising that Romania's car brand is doing well with over 20% of total sales.

Kia looks like its done an amazing arrival in going from 27th in 2016 to 5th but prior to that year it was doing well but almost disappeared before its comeback. Three Chinese brands have arrived in Havel, Zotye and Great Wall.

Below, yellow represents sales being down, salmon is either the same or up but with a reduced share, while green is positive all round.
