USA Passenger Car Sales : 2019


The average registrations over the past past ten years has been 15,749,700, so 2019 (at 17,190,400) was 8.2% above that. The past five years have been remarkably flat, after five years of solid gains. Ford remains on top comfortably enough from Toyota. Chevrolet did close in on second spot with Honda someway back on fourth.

Some of the brands below are estimates, a shame that reporting data isn't a priority for them. If they are inaccurate to some degree, I make no apology as there is an easy solution to that.

Below, yellow represents sales being over 6.8% down. Pale blue is also a drop in registrations but at least a gain in market share. Green is increase and quite a few brands managed to achieve that.
