Argentina Passenger Car/LCV Sales : 2019


The average registrations over the past past ten years has been 720,900, so 2019 (at 440,300) was 39% below that. This was the 2nd decrease, this one being far greater. The yo-yo economy continues to deliver the dramatic ups and downs. This was the worst sales have been since 2006.

Toyota has been improving nicely and is now close to passing VW. Below, yellow represents sales being more than 43% down. Pale blue is also a drop in registrations but at least a gain in market share. Green is increase and no brands in the top 20 managed to achieve that.
