Germany Vehicle Production : 2017-18

Really Audi?

For the size of the vehicles made in Germany, there aren't that many brands. Numbers have dropped the past two years. down 9% in 2018. In that same year, 60% of passenger cars made were premium ones so the value is very high. I don't have much time for the German vehicle industry, with its 'win at all costs' mentality.

With passenger cars, Mercedes-Benz passed BMW and Opel likewise with Porsche. Not one brand managed to increase volume. As for CVs, Mercedes-Benz makes two thirds of the total with VW and MAN the only others of note.
