Argentina has a vehicle industry, aided by import duty. That is why the number of vehicles made isn't that high, yet still sustainable. The data here is for passenger cars and light commercials. Those listed supply data to ADEFA so maybe one or two small assemblers are not represented. However, this is virtually all the vehicles made in the country.
Total units produced dropped 10.2% in 2016. The companies in green were up, down were yellow. Toyota did well, growing 21% and jumping from 4th to the largest assembler. Fiat was the main loser with numbers down 54% and dropping from 3rd largest to 7th. 2017 should see an improvement in total units made.
