The Evoque was one of the few times that an amazing concept made it into reality. Thanks to that boldness, well not really, rather common sense a really nice design made it onto the roads. Why car makers think we want insipid, dull as dishwater designs beats me. JLR understand style and elegance and deliver cars like that. To me a car should look good too.
Often cars with amazing styling don't sell strongly for too long. They date quickly. The Evoque has held up well throughout its life cycle, indicating it also had a classic look as well. The fact that it has continued to sell so strongly in Italy - a country where folk are known to appreciate the aesthetic - is testament to that.
The UK is the most popular place for the Evoque. China also has a strong following of the model, while the US prefers larger sized vehicles. Italy and Spain are well represented on the sales chart.
The China figure s for cars made there only. If any Evoques are imported, they are not included in that figure. All of the data is sourced from numerous places and nothing was provided by land Rover. Below the colours represent Asia (salmon), Europe (aqua), Americas (dark blue) and Africa/Middle East (green).
