East England Car Sales : 2017

While the UK was down 6%, the East of England was off 11%. That's nearly double the national average and the lowest of any of the twelve UK regions. Ford is a dominant brand here and although it lost a little ground, it is still well ahead of the rest. Vauxhall held up well comparatively speaking, only down 11% against a national average of -22%. Both BMW and MINI didn't have a great 2017. For some reason Nissan took a big hit in sales, down 26% and falling from 3rd to 7th.

The data source covers twelve regions across the UK, the top 30 as below is for the UK as a whole. Each regions sales from that collective top 30 is then given. There may be one or two brands that would otherwise be in a top 30 but are missing from a region because not every region will have the same top 30.
