RSA Car Sales By Model : 2017

An interesting mix of brands and models here, in South Africa. Some are well known but others not familiar to some. There is a broad spectrum of customer needs here, from basic transport to sophisticated luxury. VW does well with an older model Polo named the Vivo. That is the difference between VW and Toyota for passenger cars in that it keeps VW ahead.

The data here excludes pick-up trucks. Apart from Germany and France, it also excludes Euro brands in the sense they don't sell in the numbers to appear here. Korea that does quite well while Ford is also going well in recent years with a good mix of cars to suit a broad range of customers.
