Portugal Car/LCV Sales : 2017


Total YTD sales were +7%, after a +16% in 2016. This is well short of the best of years, even topping 400,000 in the year 2000. Renault has been ranked #1 here for a long time but my data doesn't go back as far as I would like. There is no sign of that changing with the margin between first and second growing in 2017, the best share since 2005. That is an impressive run and improvement. Fiat went well for the year gone so far, the the highest market share since the year 2003.
