Jaguar Sales By Model : 2017

It's hard to take your eyes off the new E-Pace

Sales were up 20% to 178,000, a record by some margin. Jaguar is still somewhat of a boutique brand and the competition is hot but despite that it made good progress. one would assume 2018 will be a consolidating year for the Leaping Cat marque, even with a new model being added to the mix.

Models: The full effect of the F-Pace was felt in 2017, and it had the desired impact. It already makes up 43% of total sales. The XF also had a good year, the sportbrake variant a belated but welcome addition. The E-Pace is starting to get a few sales, presumably at this stage demonstrators.

Regions: Europe was quiet as was the 'Rest' but North America and especially China were buzzing. It will be interesting to see how 2018 proceeds. Europe will be down and North America flat at best but China will be the main driver if any growth occurs.
